3. Lifesign (Function “ALIVE”)

For some providers, the SIM card is deactivated if no costs have been incurred within a specific period (e.g. 3 months). To keep the card active,

you can have a status text message sent regularly with this function.

Alternatively, it may be of interest to regularly have proper operation of the product signalled. If the product is impaired in its function for any

(unexpected) reasons, this may be communicated to the customer indirectly by leaving out this information message.

This command must be transmitted to activate the command:

SET ALIVE <DAYs> #1513

<Days> = number of days between messages: 1 ......30

0 = off

The following command deactivates this function.

RESET ALIVE #1513

The current status is provided with the following command:

TEST ALIVE #1513

Submission of the message always takes place at the same time. It is defined at the time of configuration of the command and is rounded to the

next full hour. Therefore, the product should first be set with the “TIME” command.



Depending on network load or weather, the text message may be submitted with a delay.
